About The Position
Assists in shop activities by performing various duties related to material handling, machine setup, and general cleaning. This role is for the 2nd shift, operating Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.
Requirements
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds
- Stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
- Frequently sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception
Responsibilities
- Loads and unloads materials, parts, or products onto or from pallets, skids, conveyors, or trucks
- Delivers parts or stock to designated work areas
- Lifts metal part or stock onto machine and secures it on machine table, in chuck, or holding fixture to assist in setting up machine
- Cleans around work areas
