About The Position

The Workforce Group, a LEMOINE company, is seeking motivated and dependable individuals to join their team as General Laborers. This role involves providing essential logistical support during emergency operations, primarily by loading and unloading materials and ensuring the efficient movement of supplies at loading docks and points. These are seasonal positions that require individuals to be on standby and ready for deployment at short notice to support emergency response efforts in Florida. Activated assignments may require travel and can last from several days to a few weeks, potentially exceeding 30 days, depending on disaster response needs. Ideal candidates must be available to deploy within 24 to 72 hours of notification.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Candidates must be capable of operating material handling equipment.
• The ability to deploy on short notice is required.
• Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects are required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation is required.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in general labor or logistics is preferred.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills are preferred.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials and supplies at loading docks and loading points.
• Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of logistics operations.
• Ensure the safe and efficient movement of supplies and equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to achieve operational goals.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
