Requirements

  • Responsible for reading and understanding all company policies
  • High school Diploma or GED
  • 1-3 months experience

Responsibilities

  • Keeps premises of building in clean and orderly condition by performing a combination of activities including cleaning assigned areas.
  • Responsible for installation, maintenance and repairs of facilities, facilities equipment, and powered industrial trucks.
  • Responsible for managing the care of the facilities grounds.
  • Performs typical maintenance tasks to support the production floor and the entire facility.
  • Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
  • Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
  • Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on machinery and the building or grounds as required.
  • Performs all duties and operates machinery & equipment according to MIOSHA standards and company procedures using required safety equipment (gloves, sleeves, ear plugs, etc.)
  • Empties wastebasket, and empties and cleans ashtrays.
  • Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
  • Seasonal grounds maintenance, shovel snow, snow blow, verify emergency exits are always clear, pick up winter debris, paper, cardboard, etc.
  • Remove scrap from Pit.
  • Remove waste oil from Pit.
  • Maintain spill kits.
  • Maintain eye wash stations.
  • Remove, clean and replace all associate fans.
  • Clean safety mirrors.
  • Comply with Autokiniton standards and procedures for the storage of disposal of supplies, trash, rubbish, and waste.
  • Punctual and regular attendance is required.
  • Able and willing to work any shift assigned.
  • Reports the need for repairs to the immediate Supervisor.
  • Performs additional duties that may be assigned.
