About The Position

National Assemblers provides professional assembly services to large retail stores across the country. The Helper assists trained and Certified Assembly Technicians by opening, unpackaging, and organizing at least eight items per hour, including items such as bikes and grills. Helpers are paid $15.00 per hour or their home state's minimum wage, whichever is higher.

The ideal candidate is responsible, dependable, hardworking, honest, and dedicated; works well with assemblers, schedulers, Team Leaders, and store personnel; adapts to changes during the workday; behaves professionally; and communicates effectively. The role requires lifting up to 40 pounds, reliable personal transportation for local and out-of-town travel, and daily internet access to use the company's website for scheduling, work orders, and payment records. Out-of-town travel may be regularly required, although efforts are made to keep travel within a local area of 5–50 miles.

Requirements

• Able to lift 40 pounds.
• Must have reliable personal transportation and be responsible for getting to work every day.
• Must be able to travel locally and out of town; out-of-town travel may be regularly required.
• Must have regular internet access and a device capable of accessing the company website. PCs and laptops are necessary to access all website features; smartphones and tablets are acceptable for most applications.
• Responsible and dependable, with the ability to work well with assemblers, schedulers, Team Leaders, and store personnel.
• Flexible when changes occur during the workday.
• Professional conduct and excellent communication skills.
