About The Position
Alter Metal Recycling is looking to hire hard-working, enthusiastic individuals to be part of their next phase of growth at their scrap metal processing facilities in Waterloo. They are looking for long-term candidates who are self-motivated, energetic, trainable, reliable, and eager to learn. Candidates should have good attendance, a good work ethic, a pleasant attitude, reliable transportation, and maintain all safety standards. The ideal candidate must also be hard-working and able to stay on task with minimal supervision.
Requirements
- Experienced with basic hand and power tools.
- Communication, teamwork, organization, problem solving, and punctuality is a must.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Fork truck experience is a plus.
- Welding (stick) and fabricating skills are a plus.
