General Labor, Bakery Packing - 1st Shift
About The Position
Aspire Bakeries is seeking a General Laborer to join their team at their Swedesboro, NJ bakery. This role supports daily production operations by assisting with packaging, labeling, sanitation, and equipment support to ensure product quality, food safety, and efficient workflow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in food manufacturing or warehouse environments
- Basic understanding of English
- Bilingual skills
Responsibilities
- Support production and packaging operations to meet daily output and quality goals
- Package, label, stack, and palletize finished bakery products according to specifications
- Maintain clean, organized work areas in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Assist with line changeovers and product transitions to support production flow
- Inspect products for quality defects and report issues promptly
- Follow all safety, quality, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
- Collaborate with team members and supervision to ensure safe and efficient operations
