About The Position

We are looking to add a General Laborer to our team. Working a flexible schedule in a clean, climate-controlled shop, the General Laborer will be responsible for material handling, general maintenance, and upkeep of our facilities. Located in Cokato, MN, you can expect to work daily with team members to ensure completion of tasks.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
Ability to follow instructions.
Ability to read a tape measure.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work individually with good attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while taking direction from multiple people.
Ability to prioritize tasks.
Ability to lift 50-70 lbs. frequently and 70-100 lbs. occasionally.
Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer.

Nice To Haves

Ability to operate forklifts.
Experience with hand tools.
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic maintenance and repair
Basic mathematical skills.
Knowledge of relative safety standards.

Responsibilities

Ensure all buildings on campus are maintained to the maximum degree for proper operation and safety.
Perform seasonal grounds maintenance (i.e., shovel snow off sidewalks, drag yard and parking lots, etc.).
Maintain yard for efficient organization and easy access to materials.
Assist team members to build and clean up pallets.
Maintain hand tools for production personnel.
Perform regular Forklift maintenance and inspections.
Maintain and/or perform other safety inspections and testing (i.e. crane, fire extinguishers, CO etc.).
Assist with Material Handling for kitting of jobs and work areas.
Assist Shipping & Receiving as needed, including but not limited to tracking inventory, and loading / unloading of trucks, returning shop and road crew inventory.
Other duties as assigned.
