Requirements

  • Able to read basic instructions and communicate clearly
  • Reliable and on time for scheduled shifts
  • Comfortable working independently and with a team
  • Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
  • Strong attention to detail and good common sense
  • Able to multitask and problem-solve on the floor
  • Comfortable operating basic machinery/support equipment (training provided)
  • Frequently transport and move items up to 75 pounds and occasionally up to 80 pounds
  • Able to closely inspect materials and products
  • Able to identify color blends, variances, non-conforming color blends with up to three different colors on each product
  • Regularly required to remain stationary or move throughout the workstations
  • Ability to ascend and descend steps and ladders
  • Ability to position self in tight spaces
  • Frequently required to reach with hands and arms, talk or hear

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ year manufacturing experience

Responsibilities

  • Inspect finished product for height, shape, color, and consistency
  • Perform quality checks and remove defective pieces as needed
  • Rework/replace blocks to ensure every pallet is customer-ready
  • Package finished product by adding packaging materials, top sheet, and labels
  • Perform final quality check before going to the yard
  • Keep all products packaged neatly, safely, and securely
  • Assist with production support tasks such as pallet repair, general maintenance support, yard support, and other assigned tasks to keep production moving
  • Maintain a clean work area and support plant clean-up
  • Follow all safety practices including PPE and Lockout/Tagout procedures
