General Laborer
About The Position
ITC Services is an employee-owned company that supports agriculture through hands-on, outdoor work. We help farmers protect their hay and silage by installing and maintaining coverings. Requirements
- Completion of Personality Profile.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to demonstrate ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Responsibilities
- Provide tarp and silage installations and maintenance.
- Tarp set-up and inspection.
- Ensure material is loaded and secured properly.
- Maintain a clean work environment.
- Implement procedures and recommends improvements in safety, production methods.
- Ability to read and comprehend work orders and all required paperwork.
- Ability to work necessary overtime and weekend work to meet customer demand.
- Attends and participates in all departmental and safety, job specific required training and informational meetings.
- Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout company property (Vehicles too).
- Helps build and promote a strong “Teamwork” environment.
- Adheres to Our Core Values and demonstrates on a daily basis.
- Perform quality work within deadlines.
- Works effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.
- Communicates effectively with other employees, customers, and suppliers.
- Performs other tasks as assigned to meet company goals.
