Requirements

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Current DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
Ability to pass DOT drug and alcohol screening and background checks.
Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
NYS Drivers License (Required)
Ability to Commute: Syracuse, NY 13215 (Required)

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous construction, demolition, waste removal, or labor experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Drive and operate DOT-regulated trucks to transport construction debris, waste, and recyclable materials.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete all required inspection reports.
Load and unload construction materials, debris, and trash by hand or with equipment.
Remove waste from active construction, demolition, and renovation sites.
Ensure all loads are properly secured and transported safely.
Follow all federal, state, and local DOT regulations, including Hours of Service and safety requirements.
Deliver debris to approved landfills, transfer stations, or recycling facilities.
Assist with site cleanup, sweeping, and organizing materials.
Operate hand tools and equipment such as shovels, wheelbarrows, and brooms.
Communicate with dispatch, supervisors, and customers regarding schedules and job progress.
Adhere to all company safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
