About The Position

We are seeking dependable and hardworking General Laborers to assist with a short-term records relocation project. This role will involve assembling boxes, packing files and documents into boxes, labeling and marking boxes, and staging completed boxes for relocation. Candidates must be comfortable performing physical work, lifting materials throughout the day, and working in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching.
Regular lifting and carrying of boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to push, pull, and move materials safely throughout the facility.
Comfortable performing repetitive tasks throughout the workday.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in general labor, warehouse, moving, records management, or material handling preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Assemble cardboard storage and moving boxes.
Remove files and records from file rooms, shelving, and cabinets.
Pack files into designated boxes while maintaining organization and accuracy.
Label, mark, and identify boxes according to project guidelines.
Stage completed boxes in designated areas for transport.
Lift, carry, and move boxes throughout the facility using safe lifting practices.
Maintain confidentiality and care when handling company records and documents.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
Follow instructions from supervisors and project leads.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
