General Laborer (Production Midnights)

About The Position

This is a temp-to-hire position in the Production department, working the third shift from Monday to Friday, 11:00 pm to 7:30 am. The primary function involves loading and unloading material from continuous pusher-style furnaces and then evaluating the electrical properties of the material. This is a hands-on, physically active role situated in a high-heat, dusty production environment. No prior experience is necessary as full training will be provided.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
• Must be able to read time on a clock.
• Must be able to read a tape measure accurately.
• Comfortable working in high-heat, dusty environments.
• Basic mechanical ability and an eye for material quality.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting.
• Effective time management; follows assignments through to completion.
• Conscientious, punctual, and dependable.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload material from continuous pusher-style furnaces.
• Evaluate the electrical properties of the material.
• Read and record furnace times correctly.
• Perform additional duties as required.
