About The Position

ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions is part of the ASSA ABLOY Group, the global leader in access solutions. KEYper Systems, part of Global Solutions, designs, installs, and supports electronic key management hardware and software solutions. This role is for a General Laborer – Electronic Production within the KEYper Systems team, reporting to the Supervisor – Electronic Assembly/Shipping & Receiving. The position involves overseeing the sourcing and purchasing of essential materials for KEYper’s operations and contributing to the production of electronic key management systems.

Requirements

• 1-3 years’ experience in electronic assembly or related field.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic electronics and computer knowledge.
• Normal, corrective vision range; ability to see color and to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, bend and reach.
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 90lbs regularly.
• Ability to work sitting or standing for 8 hours per day.
• Possesses good manual dexterity.

Nice To Haves

• Associates Degree, CEET (Computer Electronics Engineering Technology) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly and testing of electronic key control cabinets.
• Process incoming orders for completion.
• Set Estimated Ship Dates (ESDs) based on inventory and staff availability.
• Set up all PCs for sold systems.
• Check accessories and systems for accuracy before advancing to packing process.
• Assist with warehouse organization and maintenance.
• Offer ideas and feedback to engineering team for product improvement.
