About The Position
American Excelsior Company is actively seeking a Rebaler Operator to join our 2nd Shift Erosion Control Division (ESD) team. Our Norwalk branch is expanding and looking to grow its team of valued production associates to run a brand new machine in our Erosion Control department. Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk on concrete floors for up to 10+ hour shift
- At least 18 years of age
Responsibilities
- Prep and organize strings and other raw materials in work area
- Operate horizontal baler machines and associated waste conveyors
- Sweep and shovel straw waste into horizontal baler through use of waste conveyor
- Tie off, package, and palletize completed rebales
- Dispose of all scrap waste bale materials (string) and other trash into trash dumpster
- Clean/sweep straw chaff around horizontal baler and waste conveyor areas
- Participates in daily 5S cleaning procedures of production floor
- Other duties as assigned
