About The Position

The General Labor is responsible for supporting daily warehouse and logistics operations through loading, unloading, moving, organizing, and storing pistachio products and materials. This position assists in maintaining a safe, clean, organized, and efficient work environment while complying with company policies, food safety standards, and workplace safety requirements.

Requirements

Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
Basic understanding of warehouse operations, safety procedures, and cleaning protocols.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or general labor experience preferred.
Forklift certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Assist in loading and unloading pistachio products and materials from trucks, containers, and storage areas.
Move and transport products throughout the warehouse using manual or powered equipment, including pallet jacks and dollies.
Sort, organize, and store inventory in designated locations following company procedures.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse and work areas.
Perform routine cleaning duties, including sweeping floors, removing debris, and sanitizing workspaces.
Assist with preparing shipments by labeling and packaging products according to company standards.
Collaborate with warehouse and logistics personnel to ensure timely movement and shipment of products.
Conduct inventory counts and assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
Follow GMPs, food safety requirements, safety procedures, and company policies.
Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Report damaged products, unsafe conditions, or equipment malfunctions to supervisors.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
