About The Position
The General Labor position at the Conagra Brands Oakdale Plant is an essential, entry-level role supporting multiple operations within the Operations and Sanitation Departments. This seasonal position plays a key role in maintaining efficient production, product quality, and a safe, sanitary work environment in a union manufacturing facility.
Requirements
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment and adherence to safety rules and regulations
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting items up to 50 pounds, etc)
Responsibilities
- Assist in the processing of raw materials
- General sanitation of equipment and facilities
- Inspect finished products for defects to ensure quality standards are met
- Assist in lifting, carrying and moving heavy loads as required
- Report issues with equipment or unsafe conditions to management
- Communicate effectively with coworkers to ensure efficient production and deadlines are met
- Understand policies and procedures as required
