About The Position
This position involves performing general labor tasks at the Green Forest Plant. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. This includes working in various environmental conditions and performing physically demanding tasks.
Requirements
- Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Willingness to work in a very cold environment.
- Willingness to go up and down stairs.
- Willingness to use scissors and knives to cut chicken.
- Must be able to tolerate motion and work on a fast-moving processing line.
- Willingness to work on a stand that is two (2) feet above floor level.
- Willingness to stand, walk, bend, stretch, climb, push, pull, and reach.
- Ability to lift (weight depends on area).
- Willingness to work in cold, damp or hot, humid environments.
- Willingness to work on slippery walking surfaces.
- Willingness to walk up and down stairs.
- Willingness to stand on and work on a platform that is about two feet above floor level.
- Prior employment at Tyson must adhere to a 365-day waiting period if applicable.
- Maximum of three prior employments at Tyson allowed.
- If a failed drug screen occurred, there is a 6-month waiting period.
- Hourly applicants must complete a task after submitting their application to provide additional information.
