Requirements
- Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Willingness to work in a very cold environment.
- Willingness to go up and down stairs.
- Willingness to use scissors and knives to cut chicken.
- Must be able to tolerate motion and work on a fast-moving processing line.
- Willingness to work on a stand that is two (2) feet above floor level.
- Willingness to stand, walk, bend, stretch, climb, push, pull, and reach.
- Ability to lift (weight depends on area).
- Willingness to work in cold, damp or hot, humid environments with potentially slippery walking surfaces.
- Willingness to walk up and down stairs.
- Willingness to stand on and work on a platform that is about two feet above floor level.
- Prior employees must adhere to a 365-day waiting period before reapplying.
- Individuals can apply if they have worked at Tyson no more than three times.
- A 6-month waiting period applies for those who have had a failed drug screen.
- Certain roles require background checks.
- Hourly applicants must complete a task after submitting their application to be considered for employment.
