About The Position

The General Laborer is responsible for miscellaneous job duties that aid in the efficient operation of production. Essential Functions: Changed from Key Duties and Responsibilities 1. Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures 2. Demonstrate commitment to quality and perform job duties in adherence to GMP guidelines 3. Understand production work orders, load tags, palletizing instructions, time sheets and all other relevant documents 4. Understand computer system and input of data 5. Perform quality checks on products (board grade, flutes, single face/double face sides and overall board quality) and identify defects 6. Maintain production efficiencies and standards 7. Perform miscellaneous job functions in an accurate and efficient manner, such as: Packing Palletizing Bundling Stacking Sorting Load Tags 8. Assist the Operators in efficient operation of the machine centers 9. Play an active role in the maintenance and cleanliness of assigned equipment and surrounding work area 10. Understand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirements 11. Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors Performance Measures and Outcomes 1. Adherence to safety policies and procedures 2. Quality of work 3. Production goals

Requirements

• Safety sensitive position – ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as required based upon the needs of the business
• Ability to work on a rotating shift as needed
• Ability to effectively work in teams
• Ability to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and people
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of roles
• Ability to perform all computer functions as they pertain to the job
• Basic math and reading skills
