Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Safety sensitive position – ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as required based upon the needs of the business
- Ability to work on a rotating shift as needed
- Ability to effectively work in teams
- Ability to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and people
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of roles
- Ability to perform all computer functions as they pertain to the job
- Basic math and reading skills
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures
- Demonstrate commitment to quality and perform job duties in adherence to GMP guidelines
- Understand production work orders, load tags, palletizing instructions, time sheets and all other relevant documents
- Understand computer system and input of data
- Perform quality checks on products (board grade, flutes, single face/double face sides and overall board quality) and identify defects
- Maintain production efficiencies and standards
- Perform miscellaneous job functions in an accurate and efficient manner, such as: Packing, Palletizing, Bundling, Stacking, Sorting, Load Tags
- Assist the Operators in efficient operation of the machine centers
- Play an active role in the maintenance and cleanliness of assigned equipment and surrounding work area
- Understand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisor
