About The Position

The General Labor Team Member performs a variety of entry-level production and support functions throughout the Forest, Mississippi Poultry Plant. Team members may work in multiple departments based on operational needs. The role requires maintaining a safe work environment and following Tyson Foods policies, food safety standards, quality expectations, and production requirements. Candidates must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation. The facility will not accept applicants who have worked for Tyson Foods more than three times and accepts rehires after 365 days.

Responsibilities

Maintain and promote Tyson Foods' safety culture.
Perform general production and labor duties throughout the facility as assigned.
Support poultry processing, packaging, sorting, inspection, and product handling operations.
Maintain product quality and food safety standards.
Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and production lines using approved methods and equipment.
Operate basic hand tools and production equipment when authorized and trained.
Accurately complete required production records, logs, and documentation.
Communicate production and safety concerns to supervisors and team members.
Assist with material handling, product movement, and production support activities.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support plant operations.
