About The Position
A catch crew member is responsible for working safely and ensuring animal welfare guidelines are met when assisting with catch machine operations by proper placement and handling of equipment and live bird handling as needed. Catch crew members perform a variety of hands-on tasks throughout the catch machine operation process.
Requirements
- Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Minimum waiting period of 180 days for rehire.
- No more than 3 times worked at Tyson Foods.
- Must complete the task after submitting an application to provide additional information to be considered for employment.
Responsibilities
- Deploying and retrieving nets or other supplies needed in catch machine process.
- Proper chicken handling when necessary to complete catch process.
