About The Position

This is a General Labor position in a box plant. The role involves following safety rules, operating machinery, reading factory orders, and performing quality inspections. Responsibilities also include maintaining a clean work environment through housekeeping tasks such as blowing down machinery, sweeping, and cleaning ink systems. The position requires completing quality and administrative document checks accurately and performing other duties as assigned by a supervisor.

Requirements

• Ability to work with a safety first mindset and actively participate in our safety culture
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must have a stable work history
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English
• Must be able to perform basic math
• Must be able to work overtime as needed
• Ability to work well with others

Nice To Haves

• Previous work in a manufacturing environment preferred

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety rules and practices
• Safely operate machinery
• Read factory orders
• Utilize basic shop math such as accurately reading tape measures, gauges and other testing equipment
• Consistent quality and count inspection of finished product
• Housekeeping to include blowing down of machinery, wiping off shafts, cleaning ink systems, sweeping the machine area, as well as picking up and shredding scrap
• Complete quality and administrative document checks with accuracy to ensure specific directions are followed
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
