About The Position

Pacific Coast Producers (PCP) is seeking to fill General Labor positions at its Production Facility in The Dalles, OR. PCP is dedicated to investing in its people and fostering a culture of service. The facilities are equipped with advanced sorting, pitting, and processing equipment, enabling efficient processing of large volumes of cherries while maintaining strict quality standards. These facilities are an important part of the agricultural industry in the Pacific Northwest and play a key role in producing high-quality cherry products for consumers worldwide. These positions are part of a seniority-based collective bargaining (CBA) unit and require working various shifts. PCP employees work together to provide the highest level of customer service.

Requirements

Ability to safely walk, climb stairs, walk on uneven surfaces to arrive at work location.
Ability to communicate with supervisor/management and understand safety notices and signs.
Must be able to work any of the three shifts, overtime and weekends as needed.
Available to work during the months of July through October.
Reliable and able to maintain excellent attendance.

Responsibilities

Provide general labor services as instructed by supervisor or management team.
Grades, sorts, or classifies fruit by size, weight, color, or condition.
Cleaning and maintaining work areas.
Labeling and preparing products for shipment.
Follow all plant safety policies and procedures to include Good Manufacturing Policies (GMP’s).
Other duties as assigned.
