General Labor - B Shift (Goodlettsville)
About The Position
This position performs entry-level general labor duties in a production environment while maintaining a safe work environment and complying with all Tyson policies and procedures. Applicants will be considered for any open entry level non-skilled general labor positions. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Requirements
- Must be able to work in temperatures ranging from approximately 36°F to 42°F.
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for 8–12 hours per shift on a production line.
- Must be able to use a pinch grip to pick products from a conveyor, place products into trays, and return products to the conveyor.
- Must be able to reach approximately 10–25 inches to remove products from conveyors, arrange products according to specifications, and place trayed products onto designated conveyors.
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 40 pounds.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods on concrete, grating, or fiberglass ergonomic platforms.
- Must be able to apply light force while performing assigned tasks.
- Must be able to use both hands simultaneously to perform job functions.
- Must be able to perform repetitive hand, arm, and upper-body movements throughout the work shift.
- Must be able to work overtime and weekends, as required.
- Must be able to work with knives, as required, while wearing all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
