About The Position
Responsible for the finishing of metal products, utilizing grinders, sanders, and other power tools, including removing dents, scratches and defects from metal surfaces. Able to read prints, have basic math skills and check parts and identify opportunity for improving grinding and finishing procedures. Assist with weekly cleaning of production area(s) and perform other duties as assigned. Approach daily tasks and activities with a positive ready to work attitude. The physical demands of this job would be to stand for long periods of time, use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls, repeat the same movements, bend or twist with your body. Good eye hand coordination and able to work at a fast efficient pace.
