About The Position
This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Applicants will be considered for any general labor type opening. These positions work in a cold, damp or hot, humid environment, and these areas may have slippery walking surfaces. This position is for 1st shift, depending on the department will start as early as 5:00am or end as late as 4:40pm.
Requirements
- Ability to perform standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching
- Ability to lift (weight depends on area)
- Provide government identification number for previous Tyson employment history verification
- Not have worked for Tyson Foods more than 3 times
- If a rehire, must have been separated for at least 180 days (Tyson reserves the right to require longer waiting periods or not accept rehires based on reason for dismissal)
- Complete a background check if offered a position that requires one
