About The Position

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Applicants must be willing to work overtime and weekends. Some departments are hot/wet, and some are cold/wet. The work schedule is 6 days a week and 7 if production works on Saturday. Position requires standing approximately 8.5 hours/day on concrete floor. Position requires pushing, pulling or lifting over 40 lbs. and climbing ladders above 10 feet. Position requires being a member of the Plant Hazmat Team. Requires completing computer-based training and entering work into the SAP system. Position requires using LOTO, Fall Protection, Ladders, Forklifts, Pallet Jacks.

Requirements

Willingness to work overtime and weekends
Ability to stand approximately 8.5 hours/day on concrete floor
Ability to push, pull or lift over 40 lbs.
Ability to climb ladders above 10 feet
At least 6 months’ industrial maintenance experience or be a recent graduate from an accredited school for industrial maintenance
Minimum of (6) months of industrial maintenance work experience documented in the work history section of the application or a graduate of an industrial maintenance training program or resume
Must list your work experience in the work experience section of the application or upload a resume
Provide government identification number so the system can verify any previous Tyson employment history
Not have worked for Tyson Foods 3 or more times
Rehires accepted after 180 days (Tyson reserves the right to require longer waiting periods or not accept rehires based on the reason for dismissal)
