About The Position

A maintenance technician will be responsible for performing repairs and preventive maintenance on all plant equipment. Techs should also participate in maintenance testing in several different areas including maintenance fundamentals, welding, refrigeration, pneumatics, hydraulics, boiler control, machine tool practices, electrical systems, electronics, robotics, plumbing, power transmissions, and mechanical skills. Maintenance Techs are required to follow proper hygiene practices and safety procedures, and perform any other job duties as assigned by their immediate supervisor. Requirements

Minimum 6 months industrial maintenance experience or be a recent graduate from an industrial maintenance program
Must document experience on application and/or in resume
Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

Applicants must not have worked for Tyson Foods more than 3 times
