About The Position

This position is responsible for performing repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment and handling any work orders, including electrical, welding, fabricating, troubleshooting, and general repairs of lines, conveyors, and machines. It also involves making rounds and documenting system conditions (e.g., temperatures, pressure, inspections) and maintaining acceptable tolerance ranges. The successful candidate must be able to read, interpret, and understand drawings, sketches, and prints related to the maintenance and repair of processing equipment. The Dardanelle Complex Safety Goal is Zero Accidents. The role requires working in various outside temperatures (cold to hot) and occasional exposure to exterior environments like rain, snow, and wind. The environment can be dusty, damp, humid, wet, and have a high concentration of allergens. Physical demands include standing for 8 to 12 hours a day, occasionally grasping, gripping, twisting, pulling, bending, and stooping, lifting over 40 lbs., and climbing stairs and ladders. Candidates must comprehend oral and written instructions, have a minimum of a year of maintenance experience, and provide their own hand tools. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. Other duties may be assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements

  • 6 months of maintenance/mechanical experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Must be able to comprehend oral and written instruction.
