About The Position
The ODLP General Labor position monitors cheese quality, adding back and/or bulking off cheese, inspection of product for extraneous, and assisting operators.
Requirements
- Must be minimum of 18 years old.
- Ability to speak, read, and write the English language.
- Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
- Ability to access elevated work areas such as climbing ladders/stairs.
- Ability to understand and apply standard operating procedures.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and comply with all applicable safety practices.
- Ability to work any shift, weekends, holidays and possible overtime.
Nice To Haves
- Some manufacturing experience and knowledge of the Dairy Industry.
Responsibilities
- Follow all applicable safety rules and regulations.
- Monitor product and product packaging to ensure quality standards are met.
- Responsible for the operation of the processing conveyors in accordance with the company Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
- Properly clean and sanitize all equipment following good manufacturing practices (GMP’s).
- Responsible for inspecting product to ensure quality.
- Perform housekeeping and other daily duties as required.
- Communicate effectively with co-workers, Leads, Supervisors and Managers.
