About The Position

Custom Goods, LLC is seeking a General Labor associate to join our team in Houston. This role is responsible for various warehouse operations including processing, packing, and shipping orders accurately. The ideal candidate will be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily, with reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities. This position requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and teamwork.

Requirements

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
Ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, bend, lift, push and pull and withstand temperatures in a warehouse environment
Ability to understand and follow instructions
Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
Proven work experience in a warehouse setting
Familiarity with the use of pallet jacks and other necessary warehouse equipment
Ability to operate a forklift skillfully and safely
Good working knowledge of warehouse data systems
Solid communication skills and inventory skills
Physical stamina and dexterity necessary for the work; ability to lift or move at least 40 lbs

Responsibilities

Moves materials off trucks, pallets or racks and prepares orders for shipment
Sorts and segregates materials onto correct pallets or other locations based on item number
Places labels on boxes or pallets as instructed in the process
Wraps pallets with stretch wrap and other packaging supplies
Puts away products in designated warehouse locations
Identifies damage, loss, or surplus of materials and communicates issues
Utilizes RF (Radio Frequency) equipment to track product
Maintains a clean and safe work environment
Follows quality service standards and complies with procedures, rules, and regulations, including safety
Performs other duties as assigned
