1st shift - General Labor PR01U (Frozen Shipping) - Dardanelle Plant
About The Position
This role is for a 1st shift General Labor position in Frozen Shipping at the Dardanelle Plant. The schedule is Monday - Thursday from 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with a starting pay rate of $17.15/hr. The position involves maintaining and promoting the Tyson safety culture and performing various assigned positions. This includes roles such as Yard Driver, Forklift Operator, Blast Freezer Puller/Loader, Manifestor, and Stacker. If replacing a Jack Driver or Forklift Operator, the necessary licenses are required. The job requires lifting boxes from 10 lbs. to 80 lbs, stacking them up to 6 feet high, and standing, walking, lifting, and bending for 8-10 hours. The work environment includes temperatures of 10 degrees below freezing in coolers and temperatures corresponding to the outside in other areas. All other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Requirements
- Must have a jack driving license and Forklift Operator license if replacing a Jack Driver or Forklift Operator
- Must be able to lift boxes from 10 lbs. to 80 lbs
- Must be able to stack boxes up to 6 feet high
- Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and bend for 8-10 hours
- Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Provide government identification number for verification of previous Tyson employment history
- Applicants rehired after 365 days and only if the applicant has not worked more than two previous times for Tyson
- Complete the task after submitting an application to provide additional information

Responsibilities
