About The Position

This is an entry-level, seasonal position at Nestlé USA. The role involves operating departmental equipment for the production and/or packaging of quality pumpkin, while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety rules. Specific duties and machinery will vary by department. Nestlé USA is committed to an inclusive workplace that inspires innovation and supports employee growth. Requirements

High school diploma or GED is desired.
Two or more years of prior experience operating production equipment is preferred.
Strong understanding of equipment troubleshooting and repair.
Ability to operate a forklift if needed.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Possess basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

Meet or exceed designated efficiency and productivity rates.
Differentiate between acceptable and unacceptable quality of raw, semi-finished, and finished materials.
Accurately fill out paperwork, including documenting start times and temperatures.
Perform and rotate through all positions on the assigned line.
Lift up to 50 lbs.
Troubleshoot equipment problems, make basic repairs, and document adjustments.
Assist other employees and departments as needed.
Cross-train on other production line equipment and positions.
Work 12-hour shifts, 6 days a week, including weekends and holidays.
Work in a seasonal environment for approximately 2-4 months.
Work potential night shifts.
Work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
Perform other duties as assigned.
