About The Position

This position could work in any position of the Processing or Harvest departments. The role requires the ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 40 pounds, and stand for 8-10 hours a day. Work environments vary from extreme cold and wet (33-49 degrees) in the Processing department to extreme hot, wet, and humid (80-100 degrees) in the Harvest department. Responsibilities may involve using knives, hooks, or powered equipment for tasks such as boning, trimming, hide removal, or operating heavy equipment. Packaging roles involve bagging and boxing product. The Team Member must be willing to complete all required training and perform any other duties as assigned. Availability for A Shift (5:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday, including Saturdays) and overtime is required. All job offers are contingent upon the candidate providing proof of authorization to work legally in the United States and passing a post-offer health assessment, including a urinalysis screening.   • Work around meat products including blood, fat, bones, and hair.
  • Use a knife and hook to bone out or trim pieces of product.
  • Use powered equipment such as saws, whizard knives, or skinner machines.
  • Bag and box product in the packaging department.
  • Remove the hide from cattle.
  • Operate heavy pieces of equipment.
  • Complete all required training for the job.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.
