About The Position

Miller Industries is seeking a General Laborer for their Paint Department on the 1st Shift. The company designs, engineers, and manufactures custom products in the USA, with divisions including Miller Fabricated Systems, Flex Air, Miller Industries Representatives, and MI Service Group. They specialize in custom steel fabrication, custom commercial and industrial HVAC systems, and modular mechanical and electrical systems, serving industries such as automotive, healthcare, institutional, and semiconductor manufacturers worldwide. Requirements

High School diploma or GED.
Experience in manual labor, skilled trades, construction, or manufacturing positions.
Ability to multi-task various projects with high level of detail.
Experience using hand tools and measuring devices.
Must be able to demonstrate ability to follow directions, produce quality work, and maintain safe work environment.
Team player who can also perform without supervision.
Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and be clean shaven as needed to wear a respirator which involves successful completion of a medical evaluation/fit test.

Responsibilities

Prepare parts for coating.
Ensure safety guidelines are being met to assure a safe work environment.
Load and unload parts or product onto fixtures.
Assist with quality control, making sure that all finished good materials are in good condition.
Proper cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
Keep plant and work area clean and orderly and notify supervisor concerning the need for any repairs.
