About The Position

CDI Custom Curb Adapters is the nation's fastest curb manufacturer in the HVAC industry, with multiple manufacturing facilities across the country. The company emphasizes five core values: FAST, EASY, FUN, COMMUNITY, and GROWTH. This position is for the 3rd shift, with hours from Sunday to Thursday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The Insulator's primary responsibilities involve the insulating, crating, and shipping processes for the final assembly of CDI's curbs and curb adapters, requiring safety, accuracy, and timeliness.

Requirements

Outstanding attention to detail, ability to multitask, strong time management skills.
Ability to safely use various measuring tools & various other hand, power, & pneumatic tools.
Knowledge or willingness to cross-train in other production departments.
Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment drug test.
Must be able to effectively read, write and speak the English language.
Ability to stand or walk for extended amounts of time.
Ability to frequently bend, twist, grip, squat and lift.
Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently & lift 70 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

Accurately measure the interior dimensions of the finished shell of the product.
Install insulation material, lifting lugs, foil tape, & applicable labels to CDI’s specifications.
Operate glue guns, drill, sprayer, and pinspotter to complete assigned tasks.
Review and clean welds and apply cold galvanizing spray paint to CDI’s specifications.
Track and log work via computer/tablet and send the product to the next step.
Accurately measure finished product to determine critical dimensions & weights.
Through use of various power tools cut lumber to correct measurements for crating.
Construction of shipping skids/crates through use of pneumatic nail guns, chops saws and various other power tools.
Load completed product on trucks in line with the carrier, DOT and CDI’s requirements.
Other duties as assigned.
