General Labor-3rd Shift
About The Position
We currently have an opening for a General Labor position on 3rd shift at our manufacturing facility located in Bedford Park Box, IL. We are looking for motivated individuals who are capable of performing a multitude of functions in a flexible, fast-paced production environment. Our workplace requires individuals who understand the needs of the business while maintaining a focus on safety, customer satisfaction, quality and productivity. The hiring process for successful candidates will include a pre-employment aptitude test and a panel interview, mandatory background checks and drug screening. International Paper offers a competitive starting salary.
Requirements
- Willing to work weekends and overtime as required
- One (1) year of experience in related duties highly preferred
Responsibilities
- Counting and stacking finished product
- Reading factory orders
- Accurately reading tape measures, gauges and other test equipment
- Utilizing basic shop math
- Inspecting, accurately completing quality and administrative documents
- Following directions
- Clean-up functions such as blowing down the machine, wiping off shafts, cleaning ink systems, vacuuming and sweeping the machine area, as well as picking up.
