About The Position

Stanley Steemer is seeking motivated and ambitious team players with a passion for customer service and sales to join our team as technicians. Our Residential Floor Technicians are responsible for maintaining and cleaning floors in residential settings, using specialized equipment to remove stains, dirt, and allergens on various surfaces. Our Air Duct Technicians clean and maintain HVAC systems, including inspecting ductwork, removing contaminants, ensuring system functionality, and identifying issues like leaks. Both roles require completing jobs safely through effective communication and following industry standards. Stanley Steemer offers genuine career opportunities with in-depth training and a 'promote from within' approach, focusing on employee development and career advancement. These are field-based positions requiring travel in and around the surrounding area. Stanley Steemer hires high-quality individuals and this is a safety-sensitive position that requires driving a company vehicle. A drug screening, motor vehicle record check, and criminal background check will be performed on all new hires.

Requirements

  • Flexibility to work Saturdays and overtime
  • Experience using hand tools. Power tools preferred, but will train
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work safely and efficiently
  • Related experience and/or training in sales and working with the public, or equivalent combination experience preferred
  • Valid, US driver's license. Clean, not necessarily perfect driving record
  • Able to move/lift/push/pull/carry an average of 50lbs.
  • Must be at least 19 years of age to drive our vehicles.

Nice To Haves

  • Power tools experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and cleaning floors in residential settings.
  • Using specialized equipment to remove stains, dirt, and allergens on various surfaces like carpet, tile, grout, LVT and upholstery.
  • Cleaning and maintaining HVAC systems.
  • Inspecting ductwork, removing dust, debris, and contaminants.
  • Ensuring proper HVAC system functionality.
  • Using specialized equipment to identify and address issues like leaks.
  • Completing jobs safely through effective communication.
  • Following NADCA (National Air Duct Cleaning Association) Standards.
