About The Position
Waste Connections is hiring a Driver Helper at its site in Whitesboro, Texas. The role involves riding on the back of a garbage truck, manually picking up garbage, and dumping it into the truck. It is physically demanding and performed outdoors in all weather conditions. The schedule starts at 6:30 a.m. Monday through Friday, with work every third Saturday from 6:00 a.m. until approximately noon. The position involves a 50–60-hour workweek. Pay is $21.00 per hour, with the posting stating that workers can make over $50,000 in their first year.
