The General Laborer – Grounds Maintenance is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of facility grounds. This role supports daily operations by performing routine labor tasks such as debris removal, dust control on dirt roads, and vegetation management to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

Perform routine watering of dirt roads and work areas to control dust and maintain safe visibility conditions
Pick up and dispose of trash, debris, and unwanted materials across the facility grounds
Maintain grass, weeds, and vegetation through mowing, trimming, and manual removal
Operate basic equipment such as water trucks, weed eaters, mowers, and hand tools
Assist with general site cleanup, including around buildings, equipment, and storage areas
Identify and report unsafe conditions or maintenance issues to supervision
Support other maintenance or labor tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Superintendent or Supervisor
Follow all company safety policies and procedures at all times
All other duties as assigned
