About The Position
Ursa Farmers Cooperative Co is seeking a General Labor/Grain Handler for its Canton, MO location. This full-time position offers steady work and great benefits. The role involves staying active, working both indoors and outdoors, learning new skills, and being part of a close-knit team. The General Labor team member plays a key role in daily operations, ensuring grain movement, customer satisfaction, and safe, efficient facility operation. Responsibilities include unloading trucks, assisting customers, performing general maintenance and housekeeping, and cross-training in areas like scale operations. While maintenance experience is a plus, a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are prioritized. The role experiences fast-paced, rewarding energy during peak seasons like harvest, supporting local farmers. Occasional travel to other company locations may be needed, with transportation accommodated.

Responsibilities
- Safely unloading and loading grain trucks

- Climbing bins and legs for grain measurement and minor repairs
- Occasionally traveling to assist other locations or operate grain vacs at customer farms
- Following safety procedures and maintaining a clean, professional facility
