About The Position

Conagra Brands is hiring for a General Labor Fresh Pack to help produce Birds Eye products at their Darien, WI manufacturing facility. This role reports to a Team Lead Production and is part of a team of 830. Housing and transportation are provided. The shift is 1st shift, from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. Responsibilities

Develop a working knowledge of production schedules and learn to read and follow schedule instructions.
Form and assemble cases to meet production requirements/specifications.
Monitor auto-filled bags or trays for required fill weight, back seal, end seal, label placement, date code, and label accuracy.
Select acceptable bags/units for hand casing accurately for case count, orientation, and placement.
Discard unacceptable bags/units to be reworked.
Report deviations from product requirements to operators or supervisors.
Ensure cases enter the case sealer correctly.
Visually inspect products and ingredients for blemishes or other flaws, extraneous vegetable material, or discolored units.
Stop production to report any serious deviation from requirements/specifications or malfunction of line equipment.
Maintain area housekeeping.
Assist operators with start-up, production, change over, and shut down of production.
Perform any other duties assigned by management.
