If you’re ready to grow with us, we’d love to hear from you. We are seeking a General Labor, Bakery – Packing (Grandi Paddler/Inspector) to join our team at our Hazleton, PA bakery. As a General Labor – Packing (Grandi Paddler/Inspector), you will be accountable for inspecting and aligning frozen bakery products prior to automated vision inspection, ensuring product quality and preventing system disruptions to maintain safe and efficient production flow.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Basic math and timekeeping skills
  • Ability to make logical decisions and follow established procedures
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and frequently carry over 20 lbs
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift
  • Ability to work in varying environments (cold, wet, hot, noisy, or confined areas)

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a food manufacturing or bakery production environment
  • Familiarity with automated inspection or packaging systems
  • Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety standards
  • Experience operating or supporting production equipment
  • Experience training or assisting new team members

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and align frozen products to ensure proper flow into automated vision systems
  • Identify and remove defective or misaligned products to prevent equipment jams and maintain efficiency
  • Monitor equipment conditions and report damaged tools or components to supervisors
  • Communicate production issues across teams to support continuous operation and minimize downtime
  • Maintain compliance with food safety standards, GMPs, and company safety policies
  • Complete production documentation accurately and maintain organized workspaces
  • Support team performance through collaboration, training, and maintaining production readiness
