Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Elementary-level English literacy.
No prior experience required.
GMP/HACCP certification (in-house).

Experience in a fast-paced food production or packaging environment.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Leadership or team coordination experience in a manufacturing setting
Proficiency in basic computer systems and production data entry

Responsibilities

Monitor product quality prior to clamshell/case packaging.
Ensure proper closure of clamshells before packing into cases.
Report product anomalies or issues to Lead.
Remove out-of-spec products from the line.
Monitor packaging equipment for proper operation and accurate speeds, report issues for repair.
Discard scrap product properly by separating clamshells/trays from finished product.
Assist with packaging rework as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area.
Follow GMP, HACCP, and food safety regulations at all times.
Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
