About The Position
General Help - Food service worker for The Workbench and The Deli. Are you self-motivated and proud of the work you do? Here at Aramark, we take pride in the level of service and safety we provide! We are looking for outgoing team members to join both our Workbench location and our Deli location! Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.
Requirements
- Excellent communication, multi-tasking, and interpersonal skills
- Must be flexible and able to work various shifts (early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays)
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to prepare food and beverages according to Tim Hortons standards
- Demonstrates a friendly attitude and strong commitment to guest service
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Maintains a professional appearance and adheres to uniform standards
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
Nice To Haves
- Basic cash handling and point-of-sale experience preferred
- Food Safe certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Maintain courteous and professional conduct at all times with guests, staff, and management
- Have a complete knowledge and understanding of ARAMARK policies and procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests and responding to questions in a friendly and professional manner
- Accurately take guest orders and process transactions
- Prepare and serve coffee, specialty beverages, baked goods, sandwiches, and other menu items according to established standards
- Ensure food and beverage quality, consistency, and presentation standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all workstations, customer areas, equipment, and storage areas
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene requirements regarding food and beverage handling
- Assist with stocking, inventory rotation, and replenishment of products and supplies
- Support fellow team members to ensure efficient daily operations
- Complete opening, closing, and daily cleaning duties as assigned
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries as directed
- Promote a welcoming and positive environment for all guests
- Adhere to all health, safety, and workplace policies and procedures
