About The Position

We are currently hiring for both Seasonal Part-Time (Summer) and Permanent Part-Time positions. Responsibilities include food preparation, inventory management, receiving deliveries, maintaining food safety and sanitation standards, completing opening and closing procedures, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering a positive guest experience.

Requirements

Able to work in a fast paced environment.
Must have reliable transportation as shifts begin at 5am.
Excellent decision making ability and problem solving
Excellent customer service skills.
Must be a team player.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

Nice To Haves

Previous Tim Hortons experience is preferred.
Previous experience working in a Kitchen is considered an asset.
Familiar with the use of a cash register is an asset.

Responsibilities

Responsible for cleaning walk in fridge & freezer, oven, and baking station
Responsible for receiving and stock deliveries
Responsible for opening and/or closing checklist, as well as necessary reports
Responsible for weekly inventories, stocking and other tracking reports
Assist with cooking duties and prep work
Be familiar and able to follow HACCP/QA standards for food preparation
Ensure adherence to human resource and health/safety policies, as well as all other Compass policies
Know, understand and comply with all relevant operational standards and procedures that are current
Interact with customers and resolve customer complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
Ensure compliance with all sanitation, and safety requirements.
Make recommendations, cross-sell products and introduce new ones.
