About The Position
This position is responsible for performing various hatchery tasks while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The role involves the inspection of chicks in the hatchers to ascertain quality and fitness for processing. Responsibilities include pulling chicks and placing them in boxes for processing, properly disposing of substandard chicks, sanitizing trays and hatchery equipment, and cleaning and disinfecting setters and hatchers. The work environment requires the employee to work on wet, slippery surfaces and in hot, dry, dusty, wet, and cold environments. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
