Superior Contracting & Maintenance is seeking experienced 1099 contractors for Apartment Maintenance Technician / Punch-List Technician roles in Charlotte, NC. We are a well-established home repair and maintenance company with over 13 years of experience, serving a diverse client base across multiple states. Our services include plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, tree work, roofing, drywall repair, painting, flooring, remediation, make-readies, and appliance services. Our mission is to deliver dependable, high-quality service with strong communication and long-term customer relationships. Technicians typically work within their local areas, supporting property management partners, assisting homeowners directly, and managing larger contracts.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills, professionalism, and a dependable, punctual work ethic
• Must own a truck, van, or SUV capable of transporting tools and materials
• Must have your own tools and be able to work independently
• Ability to lift and handle heavy tools and equipment
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to navigate and use an online portal system
• All HVAC technicians must have EPA certification to comply with new refrigerant regulations
• General Liability Insurance is required; COI must be provided
• W9 form with a valid Tax ID is required
• Completion of onboarding video training with a live vendor representative is required before receiving work orders

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, or related trades
