About The Position

ABM Industries is seeking an experienced Electrical General Foreman to oversee electrical construction and tool hook-up activities within the THU (Tenant Hook-Up). This role is responsible for managing multiple foremen and crews, coordinating work across disciplines, ensuring safety and quality compliance, and driving schedule and productivity in a high-tech, cleanroom manufacturing environment. The General Foreman serves as the primary field-level leader and liaison between field operations and project management.

Requirements

  • Active Journeyman’s Electrical License or above (Master Electrician preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in electrical construction, with at least 3 years in a foreman or general foreman role.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, THU scope, and semiconductor tool installation practices.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple crews and foremen in a fast-paced, high-profile project environment.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
  • OSHA 30 certification required.
  • Proficiency with construction management and reporting tools (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Excel).

Nice To Haves

  • Direct experience on semiconductor or advanced manufacturing projects.
  • Prior experience on Samsung projects or similar large-scale semiconductor facilities.
  • Familiarity with cleanroom protocols, safety requirements, and commissioning processes.
  • Experience coordinating with tool vendors, owners, and client engineering teams.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate multiple electrical foremen and installation crews across THU work areas.
  • Plan, sequence, and manage daily and weekly work activities to meet project schedules and milestones.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with OSHA standards, site-specific safety rules, and ABM safety programs.
  • Provide leadership and direction for electrical installation, tool hook-up, power distribution, controls, grounding, and related systems.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and work plans to ensure proper execution and constructability.
  • Coordinate with project management, other trades, client representatives, and tool owners to resolve conflicts and maintain workflow.
  • Track labor hours, productivity, material usage, and equipment needs; report status to project leadership.
  • Identify and proactively address critical path issues related to design, material availability, manpower, or access constraints.
  • Support inspections, testing, commissioning, and turnover activities as required.
  • Mentor foremen and field personnel, promoting skill development and strong safety culture.
